Born in Mongolia on 16th Nov, 1963, in the 1990s, I graduated from Lu Xu Academy of Fine Arts where a French master, Claude Yvel, taught oil painting to the to students in the class. After that I graduated from Nanjing College of Arts graduate class. I am currently a professor in the Art and Design Department of the Northern Industrial University of China Currently and a visiting scholar at the Academy of Art of Tsinghua University. I have published seven professional books, including two books for the Ministry of Education national curriculum, and 50 dissertations. I began to create oil painting and watercolors in 1985. My works have been featured in many exhibitions at home and abroad, and have won many awards. My piece entitled Indoor Scenery received the National Watercolor Outstanding Award in 1989. Another piece called Autumn Morning was entered in the Third National Watercolors and Gouache paintings exhibition in 1992. The same year, this piece was shown in Chinese Fine Arts Association Chinese Contemporary Watercolors Exhibition held in the South Sea Art Center in San Francisco. Another piece, Yellow Land, was selected to commemorate the 2550th anniversary of the birth of Confucius and received an Excellence of Fine Arts Award. A piece called Xixia Qilian was selected by Bangkok International Exhibition where it won a gold medal. I am a senior member of the National Arts Committee.
